A Leave and Unavailability combined summary page/calendar view

As I understood, for example for someone who has a 1 month annual leave, we have to book leave for the normal working days and block out unavailability for the normal non-working days.
Since this has to be done in 2 different sections, it may be easier to have a page that shows the combined input (maybe in calendar form)?
Oh and to show the staff on leave on normal roster (eg faded out or in bottom row) will also be a nice plus...

Hey everyone,
Just letting you know that yesterday we released a number of improvements to time off. Included in this release is a new combined time off calendar.
Have a read of the full list of improvements here:

Could we also be able to download the unavailability into the outlook calendar as we do with annual leave??

planned
Hi everyone good news, we have a number of things planned to make managing staff leave requests and unavailability much easier.
We will be improving the time off page and calendar so that you can view all staff leave and unavailability in the one place!
Watch this space! 👀

Hi, when we approve a leave request, can we have it then show on the unavailability calendar as well? At present I am approving leave requests and then putting the same request on the unavailability calendar as well. Thanks
Renee
Hey there Capalaba Park Chempro! Thank you for you suggestion here, we are definitely considering making unavailability and leave located in the same location.
In terms of showing leave / unavailability on the roster - if you go to staff view you will see this represented as small blocks on the day that unavailability or leave has been created.

Renee:
Hi Renee, I found it easier to see the unavailabilities on the week view as it is more compact and hence easier for me to see. It is just a personal preference really, so thank you for taking the time to reply

Yep, agreed! Would also be handy to have a ‘create leave request’ on the right click menu of the roster, for when staff call in sick at the last minute...
Renee
Kellie Hayward: Hi Kellie, something that you might find useful is the record leave option that is available when you hover over the pencil icon on each shift.
That way if someone calls in sick you can just create a leave request directly form the roster which will pre-fill with the shift length and team.
